Even more flexible Call-To-Action buttons
We have been doing extensive updates to the most important part of an email… the Call-To-Action buttons! In fact the updates are so extensive we have three main updates:

- True ‘Auto-Width’ buttons is now the default experience. This means that now as you type in your content for your button the width will automatically expand and contract based upon the content width. This also ensures that, on email clients which render fonts differently, the button will always resize to be the correct size!
- We have also added advanced options around Outlook (VML) support. By default, if your buttons do not have rounded corners we now remove all VML coding to ensure a streamlined code output, but if your brand requires curved buttons, and you wish to support Outlook, you can now enable VML coding when setting up your Call-To-Action ‘s in your Design System.
- Lastly, if your exporting directly to Marketo, our Call-To-Action buttons now support exporting as either local variables, or the content editor. The later option will allow for more advanced editing in your Marketo Emails like making the Call-To-Action buttons dynamic when required and ensuring the default Tracking is supported.
A smooooother text editing experience
We have added a number of new user experience updates to the email text editor to ensure fast and effective content editing:
- When switching Typography styles existing alignment settings will be maintained.
- When switching Typography styles existing font weight settings will be maintained.
- When creating a paragraph break (enter) in the middle of existing content the new paragraph will automatically use the existing typography style.
Get to the point… with our new Lists options
Both Bullet lists and Numbers lists are now available in the email text editor allowing you to quickly format your content into a list. Let us know when your listicle email on ‘Top Ten Reasons why MashrMail is the world’s best email production platform’ is due to be sent out!
Advanced HTML export options now available
Not able to use one of our awesome platform integrations? No problem, we understand that this is not always possible so we have updated our Export HTML option with support for encoding your emails. MashrMail’s module library has many modules which have snippets of code which are automatically encoded for your sending platform, think unsubscribe or view online links. Now with these new options we do the code updates for you, allowing you to copy and paste directly into your platform with no changes required!
A fresh perspective on folders
A small, but handy update to folders now let’s you select and deselect any number of folders in your account to customise your view and search options.
Need to advertise an event? Use our new calendar feature
The newest module added to your extensive library is the ‘1 Column – Calendar’ module. This unique module allows you to add all your custom event details and we will automatically generate the relevant calendar invites for each of the major applications like Outlook, Apple, etc. These links will allow the user to automatically add your event to their calendar, and hopefully boost your event attendance!
